The Story of Surf Beach Soap Company

Sometimes a love affair is always with you….

In this case I’m talking about my love for soapmaking, not the first man to capture my heart.

My passion for this art began in 1997 in rural Connecticut, when a friend and I took a class to learn how to make cold process soap.  We were  immediately hooked and began creating beautiful essential oil soaps with just a few books and some locally sourced products.

Not long after, I moved back to California’s Central Coast, where I continued honing my craft for making and selling soap. Eventually rebranding to Surf Beach Soap Company, named for a local beach.

As life continued on, unexpected events altered my path, and I relocated yet again, this time to Palm Springs, CA.  Here I design, produce, hand cut, and package my passion and love in a bar.  Sending good vibrations from California to you.
